What are the brown flakes in with my coffee?
That is the chaff of the coffee. It is actually an antioxidant. Larger roasters leave this out because it is seen as making the coffee ugly. But we love it all.
How is this coffee so amazing and doesn’t hurt my stomach?
The coffee is lightly roasted by hand. I pull the beans right after the first crack. This gives the amazing flavors and taste. Since it is a light roast the oils that usually make your coffee bitter and cowboy swill are not present. Thats how you can enjoy Solcae Creek without cream.
